Dr. Srividya Shivakumar, Professor and Director at the School of Allied Healthcare and Sciences, brings over two decades of academic and research leadership to Jain (Deemed-to-be University). With a Ph.D. in Microbiology and extensive expertise in industrial biotechnology, her research spans bioplastics, biodegradable polymers, industrial enzymes, and biocontrol agents with significant contributions to sustainable healthcare and environmental solutions. Dr. Shivakumar has mentored nearly 15 Ph.D. scholars, currently supervises postdoctoral fellows, and has guided the research of over 100 postgraduate students. Her scientific contributions include over 70 international and national publications, several book chapters, and multiple patents, including a granted patent on amylase production for textile applications and another filed jointly with IIT Delhi for medical-grade biopolymers.
Dr. Kirankumar Gudagudi is a dynamic academic leader and accomplished researcher in the field of Regenerative and Reproductive Biology. With a strong foundation in teaching, research, and academic administration, he currently serves as the Academic Head, School of Allied Healthcare & Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru. Dr. Gudagudi holds an M.Res. from the United Kingdom and a Ph.D. in Regenerative Medicine from South Africa. His global academic journey includes significant research experience in Japan and Greece, contributing to a broad international perspective in the life sciences.

Dr. Yasrib Qurishi is a distinguished researcher and academic leader whose work exemplifies the integration of scientific rigor and translational innovation in cancer therapeutics. She earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Kashmir (2010–2013), following an M.Phil in Biochemistry (2009–2010) and a M.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry (2006–2008). Her doctoral research was conducted at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, focusing on cancer pharmacology and drug discovery. She further honed her expertise during a postdoctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore (2013–2016), supported by a DBT-IISc postdoctoral fellowship.
Mr. Jagan V is a committed and skilled academician in the field of Allied Health Sciences, specializing in Urology Technology. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Urology Technology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, graduating with distinction.
Dr. Mamta Saraf holds an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (M.P.) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. She brings 19 years of teaching experience, including 15 years at C.S.M.S.S. Dental College, where she served as Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry.

Dr. Nagaveni Hegde (PT) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Allied Healthcare & Sciences at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, with a specialization in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy. She is actively involved in teaching subjects such as biomechanics, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, integrating clinical insight into academic instruction.
